Consul General Sevgi Kısacık was born in Türkoğlu in 1981.

She completed her undergraduate education in Business and International Politics at Keele University in England, and her master's degree (MBA) in Business Administration at the same University.

Consul General Kısacık, who joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2006, served in the South Caucasus, Central and Northern Europe Deputy General Directorates. Consul General Kısacık held various positions at the Consulate General in Shanghai, Embassy in Helsinki and Permanent Representation of the Council of Europe, and lastly served as the Head of the Northern Europe Department at the Ministry. She started her duty as the Rotterdam Consul General as of January 1, 2023.
